Accra — The Ghana Football Association confirmed this morning that the Black Stars have formally opened camp at the Accra Sports Stadium complex, with players reporting from clubs across Europe, the Middle East, and the Ghana Premier League.
Head coach and technical staff briefed media after a closed-door session, stressing fitness baselines and tactical cohesion ahead of next week’s qualifier. “We are not chasing vibes — we are chasing points,” one senior official said on the touchline.
What to watch
Selection pressure is highest in midfield and at left-back, where form from the last international window still shapes conversations in Accra bars and WhatsApp groups alike. Supporters outside the stadium gates chanted for returning favourites as the first training session wrapped under humid evening light.
SOG Media will carry live updates from camp, exclusive training pictures, and analysis from our football desk throughout the week.
